| Hillsdale Community Theater, Inc. is a non-profit organization [501c(3)] started by a group of 5 people in 1965 at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds to provide the community plays showcasing local talent. In 1972, the growing organization purchased the defunct movie theater in Jonesville, renovated it to a small stage theater, and rename the building the Sauk Theatre.
