Waldron Village residents' support two summer holiday festivals, one on Memorial Day and one on Labor Day. The Memorial Day activities offer opportunities to honor those who have served our country, with church services, 21- gun salute, and playing of patriotic songs by the Waldon High School banc. Labor Day Festival offers a parade, and a pageant, often a round robin softball tournament and plenty of food, including a pork chop supper and chicken barbecue. It also serves as the weekend for Homecoming of all classes. This festival gives the non-profit groups the opportunity to raise funds for their various causes. Mounted Police, Civil War reanctments and canons contribute to the excitement of these weekends.
