The Litchfield Sweet Corn Days is a community sponsored event that offers fun and entertainment for all ages. The event kicks off with a sidewalk chalk drawing contest and an annual Litchfield Treasure Hunt and Sweet Corn Days parade. Throughout the weekend, there is live music, free children's games, a car show, and antique tractor pulls. Food vendors and free sweet corn add to all the fun. Located just south of downtown Litchfield on M-49 is Firemen's Park, which is located on the Saint Joseph River. Firemen's Park features a pavilion and a gazebo for family reunions or parties, plus a playground, shuffleboard courts, volleyball and basketball courts. A small fishing pond with a handicapped accessible dock is located near the first stage of the City nature/bicycling trail which was recently completed.
