The Hillsdale County Fair has been a part of Hillsdale County's history for 152 years! It offers a week long schedule of events and exhibits for all ages. Many residents enjoy submitting their goods for exhibition and competition. The grange hall exhibits beautiful arrangements of fruits and vegtables, needle crafts, and other agricultural goods.
Beginning in 2002 restoration efforts have begun to repair this beloved fairground, as some of the buildings-such as the Grange- are originals built in 1879. Youth submit their projects for exhibition and competition. Cows, sheep, pigs, and horses are some of the animal projects that enter the fair. Each barn is full of excitement as young people scrub and tend their animals.

The Hillsdale County Fair always has top quality entertainment! From tractor pulls, horse pull, harness racing and fine musical performers the fair offers fun and entertainment to all ages. Entertainers have ranged from Johnny Cash to the world-famous Lipizzan stallion troupe
